Build A Bear for Craft Club

These cutie cards are going to be samples for my after school craft club-they are 6th and 7th grade girls-eight of them. I want to give them some design freedom -but at the same time I bring the class to the kids so I have to be practical-last week I put out the papers for the girls to choose and all the pink was gone before the last of the girls picked so I knew I had to switch things up-fortunately the girls are very sweet so when I pointed out the some of the girls didn't get any pinks they pitched in and shared! I'll post a picture of that project soon. For this week I'm giving the girls-4 half sheets of kraft, one of Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Saffron, Regal Rose. a 4x4 square of each of the six DSP's from the Build-a-Bear collection and four envelopes. I'm toting along my Big Shot, 5 punches and 3 Dies-ink pads, blender pens, sponges, and markers as well as grid sheets. They will decide what to do with the supplies-copy my designs or make their own-they will have 12 dsp designs to work with and the four colors! These girls love to mix things up-I'm excited to see what they make! I pre-cut the whisper white circles but they will do the rest! I'm going to bring along glitter and two way glue pen and only bring it out if they finish early-We have an hour and a half and we ran over 10 minutes last week.

Tree in a Box!

I thought this die was too hard to deal with-I'm changing my mind-this was so fun to make-I don't have this die yet -we went to a meeting held by an upline-Jan and she gave us a challenge to turn this tree into a project-well I had been working on little projects for my craft club at GMA and was inspired to put the tree in an explosion box-had to alter the usual pattern to get the tree in but I think it came out very fun! This merry moments paper is lovely-so traditional and nostalgic. The Old Olive and Real Red and Chocolate Chip are so great to work with. Gets one in the mood to deal with Christmas-sort of! Might take more then super cute paper!

Sketch Class

Hi! I can't believe how long it's been since I posted-guess the start of the school year kicked my butt. Here is the Splitcoast sketch that I gave for home work-and the three cards I did as home work. I think these three have been my favorite so far!
