Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the February first edition of Blogging Friends Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that met online and love to share online with each other and with you!  Take a look at my Valentine inspired project and then click the link at the bottom to go on to the next blog and check them out!

My share is going to be one of my cards at my stamp camp this month.  The instructions for the card are pretty easy.  The card is a 6 x 6 cut from Rose Red, cut card to 6 x 12, score at 6. Cut Blushing Bride to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 (Cut 2) and DSP to 5 5/8 by 5 5/8. Cut Large circle scallop heart of Rose Red, Cut Whisper White heart and you will need a same size double sided permanent adhesive heart. to apply to the white heart.  Cut the blushing Bride glimmer paper with the backing toward the die and use the precision base plate.
Apply the adhesive to white heart, remove backing and apply die cut heart. Sprinkle generously with dazzling diamonds rub glitter into adhesive tap off excess. Layer onto scallop heart with snail. Stamp desired sentiment on banner. Assemble card as shown.  Be sure to tie ribbon on to blushing bride and DSP layer and then use dimentionals on the back to adhere to card front and on the back of Rose Red scallop heart avoiding the dimentionals actually being on the ribbon. Stamp envelope and inside as desired.   You will need a big envelope so good thing stampin' up! sells the envelope punch board.  Cut a 9 1/2 inch square of envelope paper and start at 4 3/4 line to score and punch the first time then match the first score line to the little foot assembly and continue till all sides are punched, round the corners and adhere to look like a super cool big envelope.

Such a soft and pretty card, Anne! The glimmer paper gives it just the right amount of shine and texture. I really like all the layers, too.
