Ornament Keepsakes

I've been having a little fun playing with the Holiday Occasions stamp Set Ornament Keepsakes and the matching Framelits Die Set Holiday Ornaments.

This first card is embossed with Very Vanilla Embossing Powder on Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and then cut out.  I layered it onto DSP from the Festival of Prints Paper Stack.  This is such a great value for card makers!  the papers are 4 1/2 by 6 1/2.  You get 4 each of 12 double sided pages that's 48 sheets in 24 patterns for $6.95.  Many of them are not even so Christmas looking that they couldn't be for birthday or other occasions!  All of the papers on this post are from this stack.

The center card is not embossed rather I used the new metallic markers to color on the rubber.  It gave it a nice touch to have the ornament cap shiny.

This Baja Breeze is a great example of a non traditional card color combination.  I used the Early Espresso Embossing powder on Baja and sponged with the Island Indigo.  This card is quite dramatic looking in person.

Scentsational Season 3-D

Could this tree be any stinkin' cuter?  The tree is a little asymmetrical so you have to match the front piece to the reverse of the solid images.   The ornament paper from Snow Festival is just perfect here!

Traditions Card Class

I'm sharing the projects here that I am going to be doing with a dozen fun ladies at Traditions on Tuesday.  We are doing Holiday Cards but I wanted to keep them very generic as there are several Ladies that don't celebrate Christmas.

Each card can easily be turned into a Birthday or thank you and I'll be bringing along extra sentiments so they can do just that.  I hope they enjoy making them as much as I enjoyed designing them for the class.

The first card features the Mitten Builder punch.  The next card has that super cute owl!  and finally the mug framlette all these products are from the Holiday Occasions Catalog.

Class at Thompson Church

Today I'd like to share the projects I'll be demonstrating at Thompson Church in New Hope, PA on September 29.  I'm very excited to have the opportunity to share my love of paper crafting with this new audience.  I hope they find these fall themed projects as cute as I do.  These projects use the Wonderfall Stamp set, Autumn Accents Bigz Die, and the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper all from the Holiday Occasions Catalog.  From the Idea Book and Catalog we will be using Perfect Punches and Sweet Essentials Stamp Sets as well as the Wide Oval Punch.  The Card Stock is More Mustard, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip.  The Ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam Binding.  I've stamped a matching Crumb Cake envelope.
