Farmers Market Designer Series Paper for July Hostess Club

Hostess Club projects for July Featured the Market Fresh Designer Series Paper.  We made a Z fold card featuring the new  Lots of Labels Dies and the sentiment form the All Boxed Up stamp set.  The two different patterns form the pack of paper really look cute together and were the inspiration for the card.  The Baker's Box Thinlit Die set was used to create the box.  We layered Blackberry Bliss Card Stock with panels of the Farmer's Market paper and accented with Stampin' up!'s new Tree Punch and the little bird from the tree punch really added a cute factor to the tag we punched from the new Washi Tape punch.  I found the Two way Glue pen worked great on the little birds etc.. Maybe I'll do a video on these projects if someone leaves a comment asking for one.

Here are the two projects together.  You can see we put the Hardwood background stamp in the Background.  The Fast Fuse adhesive did a wonderful job of keeping the labels attached to the card front.

The bakers box really went together quite nice and the cello bag of Dried Fruit looked so nice with the paper.  There were three options for closing the box.  For this project I choose to use the two hole framelit to mark where I wanted my holes and then I used a hand held punch to punch through both layers.

For the Z fold card you simply cut your paper to 4.25 x 11 then score the long way at 2.75 and 5.5.  The Patterned paper panels are  4x 2 5/8.  What I did so I had a nice repeat continuation was cut my panels to 4 x 5.5 and then cut that in half at 2 5/8.

Sketch Card 3 of 3- Everything Elenore collage technique

For the third Sketch Card We again used the mask/stencil I mentioned in my previous post only this time we made our square of color on Designer Series Paper, we then stamped additional Images including having our element of a banner replaced by an image of a label from our stamp set Everything Elenore.  The center piece is just a vellum circle punched out and sponged layered over stamped images again from Everything Elenore and punched with circle scallop.  A glue dot was used on the bird to hold the vellum it is barely noticeable since the bird is so dark.  There are a whole lot of pearls around our scallop and two more on the label stamp.  This was a super fun card for the ladies with lots of ink to the paper.

Here is a peek at the inside- all of the words on this card are from the Crazy About You Stamp Set all Images from Every Thing Elenore and the inks are Mossy Meadow and Rose Red.  Do you love it?  Leave me a comment.  Do you need somewhere to purchase your stamps paper and Ink?  Here you go I'd love to earn your business!

Sketch Card Two-Watermellon Wonder Medallion Flower

Well it sure has taken me a long time to get this second post up!  I have been so busy with Hostess Club, swaps for convention and going to convention I just haven't gotten to blogging!  But I'm here now!

This card we used a reverse mask or you could call it a stencil.  Each person got a 4 x 5.25 sheet of black cardstock that I cut a square out of centering it ideally.  I used black so that the stencil/mask would stay looking clean even when well inked.  They now can reuse this cardstock if they want to repeat this technique.
Just line up the black over the vanilla layer and sponge in through the square opening.  Lift away the black card stock and there you go a faux layer.  We then embossed the square panel with the Honeycomb Embossing folder. cut our Banner piece which was 4 x 1 with the triple banner punch and stamped the medallion flower tone on tone and punched out with the coordinating punch.  A couple of pearls a sentiment and some sponging round out an easy but elegant two tone card.

Here is a peek at the inside of the card-I stamped a greeting from the Four for you stamp set.
