Butterfly Swap

Here is one of my swaps from convention-The circle was done with the embossing folder then sanded the high points to create the white the butterfly is a new punch from SU the color is Real Razzelberry and whisper white. The flower on the butterfly is the three flower punch-I use this more then I ever though I would. I ran the butterfly through the embossing folder and layer two on top of each other to give it dept- doesn't show much on the scan. Hope you like it.

Technique Class for August

Here is the technique I did for August with my class, all products are Stampin' Up! This has been a popular technique to use with this stamp all over the internet world so thanks to everyone that showed off their version. This new embossing folder makes a great easy background. This technique uses shimmering white card stock and aqua painters with classic inks regal rose, pretty in pink and so saffron. Thanks for looking!

Hello!

I have just finished up at the Stampin' Up convention in Salt Lake City Utah! It was such a blast! So much to see, do and learn!

First things first-I apologize for not keeping up with the blog sistahs the last week-I had planned to blog from convention but the internet access was not what I hoped for-it wasn't free and it wasn't wireless so in protest I refused to use it-I'm sure the Marriott corporation really cares-not-but at least they don't have my money. I'll be choosing a different Hotel next year. I'll blog more about convention later.

These three cards are from my new Sketch class. I designed this class to encourage customers to try new things and to dust off products they have been purchasing and not enjoying out of fear of diving in and designing on their own projects. Each participant made these three cards designed after Sketch on Splitcoast. I tried to show how one sketch can appear very different when different products are used. They also took home a sketch to make at home and bring back to share at the next class-a challenge so to speak.
