Second Card for my beginner stamping class for April

Easter Card
Hello Stampers-today I'm sharing card two for my beginner stamping class.  By the way the class this month will be at the North Wales Area Library in the Borough of North Wales, PA  This Wednesday evening at 7PM.  I won't be doing a beginner class at the Blue Bell Library this Month.

As I mentioned in my previous post the North Wales Gals asked me to do Wedding/Easter cards for them.  So this is the second card I designed that could be easily converted from Wedding to Easter.  Sadly by Wednesday this beautiful paper will no longer be available- if you need to get you some I suggest you go to my website and purchase $50 in product and select this Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper as you free gift.
Wedding Card-Love and Laughter Stamp Set
I stamped all images in Calypso Coral, I colored the Rhinestones with a black alcohol based marker and layered it all together with Basic Black paper and our Tea time doilies.  The flowers are from the Boho Blossoms Punch.

    Thanks for stopping by.

Sketch Cllass for March Card number 3

Wow Sketch is tonight! I'm so happy that I have such useful cards to share tonight-masculine or unisex cards aren't always easy to come up with.  This last card is a get well card and also features a stamp from the Tag It stamp set for the Ronald McDonald house charity.  I added a little chevron heart from the Hearts a flutter Stamp Set and it's coordinating framelit.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Spring Everyday Occasions Catalog and It's Called Kaleidoscope.  I used Brights Candy Dot embellishments even though they aren't the exact colors in the DSP they blend really well and they added a pop of color to this rather gray card.  I also added a little textural interest with some Washi tape from the Epic Day Collection.  I used a Tag Topper punch to add interest to the end of the horizontal panel and I sponged it all in Basic Gray.  Thanks for checking out my card leave me a comment or share what your favorite Stamp Set is for masculine cards!

Sketch Card for March- Tag It Stamp Set

Here is our first of three cards for Thursday March 20th.  All that attend may bring their own sketch card and receive a little prize.  This card uses the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp Set Tag It.  A portion of the proceeds go to support the charity.  I used Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla and Soft Sky as well as Always artichoke just on the Lizard.  I think this is a great set if you need to make cards for kids.  I used the Chevron Punch and the arrow from the On Film Framlits-I cut slivers of paper and rolled them over and paper piercer to make the look of a rocket exploding.
Here is a little close up-I used crystal effects to add the curled paper just under the "rocket"

I think all three of the cards for this week are great for masculine cards.  Stop back I have two more to post over the next few days!

Eggs Card for stamp Camp!

Would you believe that this little simple Easter Egg Card was repinned almost 150 times!  That is my most viral card ever.  This card is Pistachio Pudding card stock and a Wild Wasabi base and In color Paper Stack.  Tea Lace Doily Back Yard Basics Framelits and Eggstra Spectacular Stamp set.  I cut a egg from Blushing Bride, Wisteria Wonder and Soft sky, I stamped the eggs in Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant and Pacific Point.  I tied a bow in Pacific Point and attached it with glue Dots.  Of course everything is sponged and dimentionals are used where dimentionals should be.  If you need to know anything I didn't share just leave me a comment!

March Technique Class-Triple Layer Stamping

Hi-  hope it's a great day for you!  I'd like to share today my technique class project from March 6.  I had a great time with this technique and I think it was a big hit. I also used a little crayon resist.  First I colored my swallowtail with sponge daubers and ink, then I scribbled lightly around the edges of the image with a white crayola crayon covering the outline this protected the lighter colors of the swallow tail from getting tainted by the darker back ground color by accidentally covering over the lighter pear pizazz. Here are the instructions I gave to the class for the Triple Layer Stamping.

--> Triple Layer stamping-  For this technique you need to decide the size of your largest layer and cut it along with two more layers each one inch smaller in both width and height from a neutral card stock.  Cut a black layer one-eighth inch larger then each of the neutral layers.  Center each of the layers one on top of the other adhering in place with a temporary adhesive.  Stamp your image or images. Color and sponge as desired, take the layers apart adhere them onto the black mats you cut and layer once again.  Embellish and finish card as desired.
One extra little hint for the sequins I didn't want them to have empty holes in the centers so I used silver dazzling details to adhere them.  I put a little dot of the DD where I wanted the center of the sequin to be and then put the sequin over the dot.  I then took a paper piercer and pushed the sequin down letting the DD to seep up in a little bubble.  It's a microscopic effect but it makes me happy-thanks for stopping by-let me know what stamp you like to use for this technique!

Duckling Instructions

I said I would share a little about each of the cards for my Easter Class later this month.  This Duckling card was fun.  I used the Chalk talk Framelit for the tag and also for the Beak on the Duckling.  I used the Backyard Basics egg framelit to cut my egg and duck body and I used the Star Burst Framelit to cut the egg down to look cracked open.  I used my Paper snips to cut around the bottom of the egg to trim away the Daffodille delight card stock that was hanging below the bottom edge of the eggshell. I used my small star punch folded in half to make the sprig of feathers out the top of ducklings head.  A Basic black marker and a q-tip dipped in Blushing Bride classic ink finished off the face.   I stamped the "Eggsta spectacular on the Bermuda Bay cardstock before I cut the tag out and colored the eggs a bit with a chalk marker.  The Basic Black Chevron Ribbon brought out the accents of black in this Sale-a-bration Sweet Sorbet DSP.  Hope you enjoy making a duckling of your own!
