August Sketch Class Card Two
The second card we did for Sketch Class was using almost the Same supplies as the first time except with Strawberry Slush Card Stock and the new Hearts Boarder Punch which I punched out and then cut with the now retired edgelit. Stamps from the Good Greetings Hostess Set and from Something to Say.

Sketch Card Three from June
Here is sketch card three from June. Vivid Vases Stamp. Colored with the new Blendabilities Markers by Stampin' Up! Then used the trimmer to cut it up into nine squares and arranged them on the slightly larger piece of Pool Party card stock. I used two new boarder punches the Hearts Boarder and the Spiral Boarder. The Black stripe is retired but I'm sure any paper from the Back to Black paper pack would look great too!

Sketch Card number two! Toucan!
The next of my sketch cards I'd like to share is the ZOO Babies Toucan card. Again it featured the Postage Stamp Punch for this one we used the one inch square punch to create a mask -we had done this in Technique class a couple years ago. we punched out sticker paper with the Postage stamp punch and then adhered it to a window sheet and punched the center out with the one inch punch. Then you line up the edges of the window sheet postage stamp over the punched out Postage stamp you are using on your project. We used a sponge dauber to sponge Wild Wasabi ink into the window and then stamped the Toucan and the "wish big" We repeated nine times and then I had everyone start in a corner and work their way out and up to aline the images. I had used our adhesive sheets to back the Whisper White card stock so it was like we were adhering a sticker.

Sketch Card number one
Here is the first of the three cards we did at my last Sketch Class. I featured the much under used Postage stamp punch. Crumb Cake and our lovely new Blue Lost Lagoon. There is also a new embossing folder for the background and Polk-a-dot Pieces Stamp Set. This seemed like an easy sketch until you try to get all your rows straight then ugh! I did a sort of Umbra effect by stamping three shades of blue and stamping one twice three time each color.
I think it is Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana.

Sketch Class Card three-Happy Day
Good morning Stampers-
The third card for sketch class this month also uses the Happy day stamp set.
To get these doilies lined up so nice I marked the line I wanted to use as my center in pencil on the Very Vanill Panel. I then used my Stamp-a-majig to repeatedly stamp the doily. I used sticky strip to attach the ribbon to the back of the Strawberry slush panel and glue dots to attach the crocet trim to the card front. I attached the little banners just under the edge of the trim with Snail. The Hello There is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar and that is the color of the Ruffled trim and the pennants. There are some pearls on the flourish that is stamped tone on tone. Thanks for checking out my project.

Sketch Cllass for March Card number 3
Wow Sketch is tonight! I'm so happy that I have such useful cards to share tonight-masculine or unisex cards aren't always easy to come up with. This last card is a get well card and also features a stamp from the Tag It stamp set for the Ronald McDonald house charity. I added a little chevron heart from the Hearts a flutter Stamp Set and it's coordinating framelit. The Designer Series Paper is from the Spring Everyday Occasions Catalog and It's Called Kaleidoscope. I used Brights Candy Dot embellishments even though they aren't the exact colors in the DSP they blend really well and they added a pop of color to this rather gray card. I also added a little textural interest with some Washi tape from the Epic Day Collection. I used a Tag Topper punch to add interest to the end of the horizontal panel and I sponged it all in Basic Gray. Thanks for checking out my card leave me a comment or share what your favorite Stamp Set is for masculine cards!

Card two for March Sketch-
Hello-happy hump day. Such a busy week here in the Power House Studio! Hostess Club, Sketch and my Easter Stamp Camp all in one week!
Here is the second Card for Sketch class see the previous post for a look at the sketch.
I used the chevron embossing folder for the the Real Red Panel. The I Am Me DSP from the Annual Catalog and Framelits and buttons are from the Occasions Book. I used the Just Saying Bundle for the Sentiment and the filmstip image is out of the Peachy Keen Bundle. I love that this is a very unisex card.

Sketch Card for March- Tag It Stamp Set

Here is our first of three cards for Thursday March 20th. All that attend may bring their own sketch card and receive a little prize. This card uses the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp Set Tag It. A portion of the proceeds go to support the charity. I used Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla and Soft Sky as well as Always artichoke just on the Lizard. I think this is a great set if you need to make cards for kids. I used the Chevron Punch and the arrow from the On Film Framlits-I cut slivers of paper and rolled them over and paper piercer to make the look of a rocket exploding.
Here is a little close up-I used crystal effects to add the curled paper just under the "rocket"
I think all three of the cards for this week are great for masculine cards. Stop back I have two more to post over the next few days!
