Skull and Spider Go Glam

The next project for the Boo to You card class is our not so scary Scull and cross bones card.  The Spider doilies are supper cute!  the little spider creeping in sort of cute for being one of my least favorite creature.  Rhinestone eyes always lighten up a skeleton don't you think.

File Tabs Edgelits for August Hostess Club

Well my month of August was challenging for my business.  There was the kit back order ordeal to deal with and then the craft studio took on water.  As I sit here I realize that the energy required to get my studio in order is just overwhealming me.  So.....I need a plan.  I am working on a plan however the plan involves estimates and contractors and budgeting.  So this month may also be a little hap hazard.  My goal is October 1 to have things in order, or at least a concrete plan for order.

In the mean time I'm doing a big post about one of my favorite sets from the Annual Catalog.  Remarkable You and I paired it with the File Tab Thinlit dies for Hostess Club last month.  The class featured 3 different techniques for using the flowers.  Heat and Stick with Glitter.  Glycerine coloring and bleach painting.  The Ladies really seemed to love this class.

I would say the glycerin coloring was my favorite and I'm going to pull that out a lot more often.  I had never done it before and the new thick Whisper White Paper was just perfect for this technique.

Are these new metallic doilies not to die for?  they add bling is a flat shinny way with no effort at all and they are so reasonable!
This new me=grateful set is really nice.  There are several inside sentiments that are versatile despite it being a Thanks set.
Pairing the sequins with the metallic doilies is a natural,  don't you love the effect of the bleach on the Marina Mist paper?

I hope you enjoyed my cards!  Here are the supplies I used.  If you need a place to order please click on the link and visit my store.
