Light Hearted Leaves Card Three of my Travel Class.

Today I'm sharing my third card from my travel class for October.  This is a quick and easy card.  Tone on tone stamping and a quick trip through the Big Shot.  The sentiment was made with the Tags & Labels Framelits They are $27 and equate to having 13 layering punches.  What I love is th Product List
e layer nice and tight too.

If I were to step this card up I would emboss the background.  With the time constraints of this class this was the perfect amount of embellishment.  The buttons and twine were from the In' Color embellishment kit from Sale-a-bration last year and I was happy to use up some of the retired materials.  Can't wait to see what fun Sale-a-bration brings this year!

Lighthearted Leaves Thanks giving Card

I'll be sharing cards made with the Lighthearted Leaves Stamp set today and tomorrow yesterday I shared a Birthday Card made with the Lighthearted leaves Stamp Set.  These cards are my travel cards for October.  So if you book a private class in October these are the cards you will be making.  Today's card uses the Chalk marker to accent the whimsical style of the stalks.  The corragated paper comes 12 x 12 two sheets of white and two of craft.  I'm not sure where the thick white bakers twine came from maybe the spring occasions -where ever it's from it's retired now.  So sad it looks really cute.

Fall Birthday Card

Hello Stampers!  Happy Hump Day.  I thought we could all used a little color in our dreary fall day.  Or at least those of us in the North East.  This is one of my travel Cards for this month.

This whimsical stamp set makes for a fun boho fall card.  The supplies are very few for this card so it is a great card for newer stampers.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop!

Welcome to the FIRST ever “Blogging Friends Blog Hop!”
Up until one month ago we were a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada whom had never met before.  Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of papercrafting we have created a fun new blog hop.  Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created!

For my project I made a simple square card.  What I love about it is the Designer series paper is cut to 4 x 4 so you can get 9 of these cards from one sheet of paper.  The black mat is cut to 4 1/8 square and the card base is 4 1/4 by 8 1/2.  If you watch the video I state this size wrong-

The image is embossed with Black embossing powder and heat set.  the ribbon is tied with the two different ribbons careful layered together and tied around the mat as well at the DSP then the whole card front is attached to the card base with dimentionals.  The Envelope is cut down to 4 3/8 Square, sealed shut then the cut end has a panel of DSP 4 3/8 by 2 inches attached to it,  The panel of DSP  was scored along the long edge at 1/2 inch.  This is explained further in my video.  I hope you enjoy my little project-be sure to make you way around the hop and visit all the blogs!
