Christmas Decor Class
This Class is coming up on Sunday November 18 and Monday November 19. I still have spots available for both days. Most likely some of these projects will have to be finished at home.
This first project is Shelf Art and is a cute hollow wood brick-it is way cute!
This ornament is done with roof flashing and the new snow flake die in the Holiday Occasions Catalog. The Tulle Ribbon is also in there and I used a needle and thread to gather it -maybe I should do a video on how that works.
This Quilted Christmas Ball is all over the internet and its super easy and quite impressive when complete-I really do love how it came out-I made it driving around in the car-as the passenger of course. It is time consuming but easy.
This wreath is another Time consuming but easy project-I'm amazed at how stinkin' cute 36 Clothes Pins-well actually 37 clothes pins if you count the one holding the tag to the bow-can be! I will tell you clothes pin aren't what they used to be- literally! I started my first wreath using Clothes pins that I had bought 11 years ago when we moved into this house and the washer and dryer were both broken-not the most honest sellers don't get me started. I didn't have enough so I went to five stores trying to find clothes pins the same size to no avail-the clothes pins now are 1/8 of an inch narrower and 1/2 and inch shorter! Seriously add that to the icecream and toilet paper scams! ..okay I'm over it.

Traditions Card Class November 2012
Last month the ladies at Traditions requested Thanksgiving Cards- So I reached into my magic pile of papers and pulled out these lovelies. Love birds-love hostess sets-love this Indigo Island paper-sweet and simple just right for the class-I wonder how many knots I'll have to tie today? LOL
I don't know what it is about this card but I love the minimalism and frankly up cycling of it. If you look back a number of posts ago I did a bag topper that uses these exact pieces of paper-I cut way to many pieces so I designed them into the card-now this brings up an interesting question-I see so many cool hip cards that use these little bits of paper and I wonder how did that person think of using that? Is this how they think of those little bits? are they just rummaging around in their pile of cast offs?-I don't know but this worked for me and for this card class.
What's a class without some big shot! This Woodland embossing folder is very coo and on trend. What better to pair apples with? There is a fruit pun in there somewhere. If you got the pun post me a comment-I think I'm talking to myself here.

Sketch Class-November 2012
Sketch this month is a rather simple design-I had fun with it though-and I have to say I love the cards-Especially this first one. I feel like I've been married to seasonal cards for so many months it was fun to stamp Saffron and Rose and just have fun with the stamping-you should see the inside of this card! just good old fashioned paper, rubber ink can be so endearing.
Despite the Rinestones on this card I think this would be fine for a male or female card-I really like this card's simple clean lines. The Riding hood Red has taken a back seat to Cherry Cobbler this Christmas so I was happy to bring it out and give it some attention.
I have to admit-I chose this color Elegant Eggplant for Jen Roberts-I've been picking on her in class and she is such a great sport-she was the first person to sign up for Sketch this month and Purple is her FAVORITE color and I rarely use this deep dark purple-not for any reason other then I haven't had the inspiration to. Jen you are a "first class" customer!

Core-dinations Christmas Card
This Card is made using the Specialty Paper Coredinations in the Holiday Occasions Catalog -simply emboss and sand with the new Stampin' Sanding Block and you get this velvety soft effect. This was our Technique for November.
Christmas Card Class
Here are some close up pictures of the cards we will be doing November 18 or 19.
The ornaments are embossed with Irridescent Ice with the first two Cards-using just the classic Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad.
This last card the ornaments are stamped with versamark twice and once embossed with Cherry Cobbler and once embossed with Gold embossing powders. Then I cut the gold ornament apart using the guide lines in the ornament and then adhered the gold pieces over the cherry cobbler pieces! so easy and look amazing!
