Just Sharing! Butterfly Punch and Designer Frames Embosslit!

In the interest of keeping an active blog despite trying to take it easy this summer I'm sharing this super simple card I did with my niece Erin who is a new demonstrator.  She needed some card ideas that used limited supplies.  Emboss the frame punch some DSP with the Wide oval punch and add the two sizes of butterfly punches and some Rhinestones add a greeting and it's lovely!

Lattice Stampin' Up! Card

I saw a card with a very labor intensive lattice tutorial-I don't remember where because I thought to myself-way too much work!  Then I remembered a few days later that we still had this Lattice Bigz Die so I decided to see what I could do to make an easy version of that card.  So here is my version.  I used the Window Frames Framelit and Secrete Garden stamps and Framelits.  I made two versions I did the one with the Whisper White and Strawberry Slush first but I felt it was a little less then I wanted so I did the second card and made on 3-D Flower and liked it much more-I see two tutorials in my future if you would like me to do a tutorial on either the card base or the 3-D flower leave me a comment!

Below is a little more information about the Die-if you would like to order it follow the link to the right shop now button and you can enter the number below in the search box!

Quatrefancy Card For You!

Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper
My newest downline member came to stamp last Friday-so I made her this card.  Erin needed some class card ideas-this layout is one of my favorite card layouts to teach a new Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  The center panel is 3 x 4 so it makes a bright wow of DSP and you can make 24 of the same card from the two sheets of paper in the pack that are the same,  add a ribbon and a fun over sized greeting and everyone says "so cute".  This is cool paper too it comes with this awesome patterned window sheet-I need to go and play with that!

Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper  130141
Price: $12.95
Bold and beautiful quatrefoil designs. Includes Whisper White quatrefoil print on specialty window sheet. Coordinating colors: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White.

Mosaic Madness Stampin' Up!

This is a fun little card using the new Mosaic Moments Suite of products.  This fun new color is Strawberry Slush- This card reminds me of a popular dress style for prom dresses this year.  Those dresses were a little too risque for my girls but perfect for a card!  I've seen others make this card but I don't know where it originated from.  I did mine by slicing off 1/2 inch and then an 1 1/2 the 1/2 inch I discarded the 1 1/2 inch I lined up at the bottom edge then reattached it using the punched mosaic images.
On the inside I lined up a one inch wide by 5.5 inch wide slice of DSP that will show through when the card is closed.  I stamped the greeting above the DSP- I've made it my own now it is your turn.

All these products are available in my online store.  Place a $35 order and earn a free tutorial with step by step instructions for this and two additional Mosaic Madness Cards!

Thinking of You -Really

I am doing my morning "work" I try to do a little stamp business every morning.  As I'm researching how I'm going to meet new customers and keep my business alive for another year I realized hey I need to post something to my blog I haven't thought about my virtual friends today and I remembered this card I had made-It was one of the prototypes for my masculine card class last month but it got voted out by my daughter.  I really liked it but I think she thought it was too bland-of course she is 14 and if it doesn't have glitter it's bland.  I hope you like it-The Stamp has friend but I wanted the design to be more versatile to I added the word window with "nephew" what do you think?

Two Step Stamping Class

Friday May 10 is my two step stamping class at the Library.  I chose on masculine and one feminine stamp set to use.  this is a basic stamp class to meet new people and introduce them to the art of card making.  I have to say back in the early 90's I saw someone demonstrate two step stamping on DIY.  I could never find two step stamps until one day while sitting in the ballet studio ten years later I saw a woman reading a Stampin' Up! Catalog and low and behold one thing led to another and I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 9 years.
This hot air balloon is a far from the image of a heart that was solid and came with an out line.  This card came out so soft and lovely yet still perfect for a man-

This second card Celebrates Pretty in Pink as we say farewell.  I added soft suede to help it pop and even used the two step on the butterfly-the framelit die added the perfect edge-I love that there is no lining up a punch to get this effect.  This set is so nice because you really don't need the stamp-a-majig to get the flowers lined up, they look lovely even if they are not centered -soft and floaty.

May Cards-Masculine Theme

So my class to go for May is centered on Cards for the guys in the lives of my ladies.  I have to admit making cards for guys is the most challenging class for me to design.  I actually designed several and had my family vote on their favorite three-then picked the ones I like best anyway....yeah I admitted it.

I just had to use this cute watch stamp that will be leaving us the end of the month.  It's from Dapper Dad and the oval is from The Beyond Plaid Set both from the Spring Occasions Book.  and let us pay tribute to Baja Breeze..farewell.

The blimp here is from the Ronald McDonald House Charity set-It retires this month as well and I can't believe that this is the first I'm inking this set up-where has this year gone.  The Banners are from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits.  Soooo happy.  The DSP is Parker's Prints from the Spring Occasions.
I've been loving this background and I finally broke down and invested in it as part of planning for this class-I hope everyone loves this card as much as I do and how cute is the denim ribbon with the tools!
