Daffodil Punch Art for Hostess Club

  Today was my February Hostess club and so I'm sharing with you the video I made to show how I made the Daffodils and grape Hyacinths.  Hostesses could choose to make a block or two cards out of their panels.  I'm just sharing the one panel today.

Easter Stamp Camp-card one of four

 This will be the first of four cards for my Easter Stamp Camp.  Class will be March 23 and 24th.  The class fee includes the stamp set Eggstra Spectacular.

Easter/Spring Travel Class 3 of 3

 The final card for my March travel class is using water pens, water color paper and classic ink.  The images were stamped in Black Stazon Ink.  Colors are Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Whisper White and Pool Party not a typical color combo for me but I just love the springy effect.

    I think the sentiment my be retired but if you really want to use it and don't have this set you can always print it from MDS.

 I'm sharing today the first of the three cards I'm doing for my travel class.  They will be Easter Cards however I will be bringing alternate images for those that don't need/want Easter Cards.  I just love the promise of Spring that Easter Cards bring.  Easter is on the Late side this year so it should be free of snow.

Chalkboard Technique

 Hello-  Today I thought I'd share the card I did with my technique class in February-I know it's almost March but the is crazy weather has my rhythm off.  I've been dying to do a Chalkboard card but I struggled with how to make it special and cool.  Then I saw the Challboard in the Spring Occasions book and and I got the idea to add the little banners.  I added the little bows on the end I didn't bother trying to string the banners-a little dab of Tombo glue and I was good to go.  The Paper is Sale-a-bration's Sweet Sorbet. 

   We lost the electricity right in the middle of this class funny since it is the only time during the whole storm that we did-one of the Ladies coined the phrase craftastrafy- others were out of electric for 5 or more days so I have zero complaint!

Chalkboard Card-A chalkboard card requires black card stock, white ink that stamps opaque and a white opaque marker images should be stamped white on black, traced out with doodles either stamped or drawn or both and a sponge should be used to add stippling and smudges to simulate a chalk board. 

The panel will look more realistic if you add a neutral layer to simulate a wooden frame.  If you use white craft ink you may need to heat set ink with heat gun.

Gnome Valentine Card

 This stamp set is long since retired but I'm going to share this cute card anyway-  I made this card for my son who is away at College.  He has a special love of lawn ornaments-what ever.  I colored the gnomes with alcohol markers-Stampin' up will soon be selling similar ones -I also cut my images with my new Brother Scan and Cut.  Stampin' Up has no affiliation with this tool however many of the My digital studio projects can be cut on e-cutters and I found a really cool one that will even cut some stamped images-love my gnomes?  leave me a comment!
