Sketch Class for October

 I haven't shared anything in a little while -I've been busy stamping!   Today I'm sharing the cards I did for my Sketch class-The sketch is easy to see-The first one uses the Indigo Island Base,  SoHO Subway DSP and Create a Cupcake Stamp Set and the Chalk Talk Framelits.

 Next we move on to Pumpkin Pie paper and Ink with the Chevron Background Stamp.  Witches Brew DSP and Halloween Bash Stamp Set.  The coordinating Punches Scallop Oval and Decorative Label make it quick and easy.

The final Card was fun to do using the small oval punch and the Bird punch to make a punch art pumpkin.  Sweater Weather DSP and The Truly Grateful Stamp Set Chocolate Chip Card Base and a little paper piercing finish this off nicely.

How about it-Love this Card-so much prettier in person.  The stamp is retired however I still think it is super cute.  There is a newer Jewish Set but I don't have it.  I'm sure someone could make a similar card using that set and substituting the Window Frame framelit collection.  I used the Winter Frost Paper Stack and Glitter Paper with Whisper White and Coastal Cabana Card Stock.  This will be the fifth card for the October Christmas Card Buffet.

Joyful Christmas October Technique Class

For October's Technique we did Black Magic II -these were the instructions I shared with the class.  This stamp set worked really well for this technique.

Black Magic II- This technique will work on dark or colored card stock. Stamp line art image in white craft ink or versamark and emboss with black or white embossing powder.   Color in image with white craft ink and a damp aquapainter.  Allow to dry or heat gently.  Paint over with classic ink layering from lightest to darkest ink.
