Here is my countdown to Christmas, I used an oval plaque from the craft store and wooden ovals, the edge is painted with crackle paint-this was my first experience with that. It was a bit of a pain the wood had to be sanded, sealed then painted. The oval is about 20x12 so I had to use two sheets of DSP to cover the front. The edge of the oval is beveled so I couldn't trace it-I rubbed a lead pencil around the curves to make a line to cut-then made a rough cut, pasted the paper down the used a craft knife to remove the overage. I then sanded and distress the edge. The little dots in the vinyl didn't stick to the backing and I had to pick each one off the transfer paper-ugh! the black stand is from that giant store that has every thing and was $3.89 or so. This is an amazing project much cuter in person, it did add up to be about $45.00 to make. The plaque was about 11.80 with coupon, decor element 24.95, paint, sealer, paper, little ovals were 3.25. I still have to make the rest of the numbers-so I had better finish this!

Thanksgiving framed art
Here is a framed Decor Element-used the Autumn Paper from the Holiday Mini, The frame is 16x20, I would consider doing this as a class if anyone is interested. It was quick and easy and will adorn my kitchen counter as soon as Halloween is over.

Halloween craftin' this weekend!
I sure had fun this rainy weekend with my Spooky Paper-this is the smaller board Book Basic with a decor element-only available till October 31.
Below is a threesome of fun-the new Stampin'Up! Sizzix dies are so stinkin' cute! can you see the little dementionaled spider on the candy cup? so fun-I love that every bit of the die has something to punch out-no waste more for your money!

Okay so how cute is this? this picture doesn't do this banner justice-I will so be making this for every Holiday! My DSP is in trouble-no paper is safe-this was so easy-so fun and not even very time consuming-I completely loved it-the letters were inspired by decor elements sadly the welcome doesn't come in black so I had to die cut letters but I then decided hey-black chunky glitter! WOW-so cool-except the part were I rubbed a sparkle in my eye-humm safety glasses for glitter projects? I think not-maybe I should just slow down and wash my hands occasionally?

Look! Photographic evidence that I cleaned my stamp table! and note all new samples (most are convention swaps-look close--tons of room for new stamp sets!
