Hostess Club Project August

 To kickoff the new round of Hostess Club we did two project with the Sea Steet Stamp Set.  First was a Window Sheet Card.

  The little fishes were stamped with White Stazon.  The card stock is Night of Navy and Real Red

We also made a fun Hamburger Box with a pop-up sea inside.

Hamburger box Pop up insert-

Cut and assemble Hamburger Box from Bigz long Die by Stampin’ Up!

To help assembly snip the center score line on each trifold corner

Crease all lines and assemble corners with glue dots.

Use glue dots to adhere front lower corners

Use piercing tool or scissor to open slit s slightly to help tabs to insert without bending

Cut matching card stock to 2.5 x 6.5

Score along long edge at .5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.75, 3.5, 4,5,6 inches.

Fold  as shown adhere down the flat sections to inside of hamburger box “mountains will be pushed in tight and paper will be snug.  Embellish and decorate as desired.

January Hostess Club

 Hello-just a quick share from my Hostess Club in January.  Using lots of product that can be earned for free during Sale-a-bration.  This is a fun fold to do.  You can insert a gift card or make a pocket for a gift card.

Sweet Sorbet Designer series paper, sweet Sorbet Accessories Pack, Banner Punch and Banner Blast Stamp Set- each can be earned with a qualifying purchase!

Base Card is 12 x 5 ½

Mats are

1 at 5 ¼ x 3 ¾

2 at 5 ¼ x 3 ¼

DSP 5 x 3 ½ and  5 x 3

  

  Score Card stock as shown above, use a framelit to cut an opening in the panel between ½ and 4.  Apply sticky strip to the ½ panel.  Crease lines then apply one of the two panels that are 3 ¼ wide to the panel 1/8 of an inch from the 4 ½ score line on what will be the inside of the box.  Adhere the ½ panel to the panel past the 8.  Decorate and Embellish.  You can use this a gift card holder putting the gift card in the window or making a pocket instead of the inside DSP panel. 

Stationary Basket

Hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable weekend-We had a lovely visit in New Mexico -after the worst adventure getting there last week-Tuesday was not the day to be flying!  took us 18 hours to get from Philly to  Albuquerque.  So tonight I'd like to share this clipboard and magnetic clip-  The clipboard is SU!-I colored the edges and a border around the front with craft ink and a sponge dauber I was happy with how it turned out as far as helping it look more finished-I think this would look cute with a picture or memo clipped on it can hang on the wall or in a cubicle, the clip is from Walmart and I punched the hole for the ribbon with the crop-a-dile I used crystal effects to glue down the paper in the circular indentation then sealed it all over with a heavy coat of crystal effects!  All stamps, inks and paper are Stampin' Up!  I love this set of woodland animals-I'm so happy they made the new catalogue!  but I am sad this paper will be retiring, along with the Baja Breeze color that it features, although SU did say to hold on to our retired "in colors" so who knows what they have up their sleeve for next year!!!!

End of the Year Gifts!

If you've been wondering where I've been the last few days-here is your answer-making end of the year gifts-Reilly wasn't any to happy about delivering-she wanted nothing to do with them-especially since I put Love You! on the tags for the librarians and the school secretary.  I found these notebooks in the art store they had simple paper covers on them and have thick cardboard backing-all I had to do was tear off the covers and use them as a template for scoring-I used the cover weight DSP from Stampin' Up!  I am so happy to have found these acetate boxes the larger note books fit right in them!  I couldn't take pictures of everything before I sent it out Reilly was was too cranky-I had to bribe her with a mani and pedi to get her to deliver-poor baby is so shy-sad thing is she gets it from me-notice I'm not delivering the gifts!  Do as I say not as I do!  Ugh!

SS Challenge week two-

Week two's challenge is to make a box or bag that you never made before-well I had this match box die sitting around for a couple months and hadn't touched it-I mad it from SU's new cover weight DSP-it's so great for this type project-I made this and went right on line and ordered more pattern's!    The flower is also cut from the same heavy weight paper and it curled beautifully with the bone folder and held it's shape!  The paper is chocolate chip and soft sage and the tag is a rub on-it says happy day!

This is a clip board I made for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator contest-it didn't win so I guess I can post the picture now-I thought it would be cute to put on a desk and change out the picture when you get a new picture the way the kids are always getting new activity pictures.  All stampin' Up!  products-Always DSP-I'll have something else to post-the battery was dead in my camera when I went to take pictures of my latest.

Valentine decorations for me!

Well I went a little nuts with this paper from the Love you much bundle-I recovered a couple ugly valentine signs I picked up on sale and then made this heart bouquet and these new owl die cuts-so cute-made the phrase with the calendar alphabet!  Super fun!

Banner for Valentine's Day

This is a banner I made for my front bench for Valentine's Day.  The paper is retired Stampin' Up, the brads are SU flower brads, three heart punch, and chunky glitter, I cut off the scallop edge and flipped it over to the other side sliding it up a bit, I cut it out in DSP and layered on retired Pomegranate Card stock.

Here is the first of several projects I'll be doing in my January Classes.  They will be featuring the Valentine's Bundle on special from Stampin' Up! this month into next.  It was a fun easy project.  

Table-Top Nativity

Here is a project I'm planning for a class this month-it can be either a card or a table top decoration-or both.  It fits in the Small Open End envelope and uses Windsor knot DSP.  I used Chocolate Chip Ink on Sage Shadow Paper.  The Paper is 6" high and each panel is 3.25" wide.  I am going to make these to send to a few special people in my life, I really hope some customers sign up for this class.

Christmas countdown

Here is my countdown to Christmas, I used an oval plaque from the craft store and wooden ovals, the edge is painted with crackle paint-this was my first experience with that.  It was a bit of a pain the wood had to be sanded, sealed then painted. The oval is about 20x12 so I had to use two sheets of DSP to cover the front. The edge of the oval is beveled so I couldn't trace it-I rubbed a lead pencil around the curves to make a line to cut-then made a rough cut, pasted the paper down the used a craft knife to remove the overage.  I then sanded and distress the edge.  The little dots in the vinyl didn't stick to the backing and I had to pick each one off the transfer paper-ugh!  the black stand is from that giant store that has every thing and was $3.89 or so.  This is an amazing project much cuter in person, it did add up to be about $45.00 to make.  The plaque was about 11.80 with coupon, decor element 24.95, paint, sealer, paper, little ovals were 3.25.  I still have to make the rest of the numbers-so I had better finish this!

Here is a Candy Bar wrapped up as a gift.  quick and easy little gift-love this stamp set-a flower for all Seasons-the lady bug, frog, cardinal, sparrow-so perfect when you want to color a bit-perfect with blender pens!

Here is a tea bag holder with the flowers for all Seasons stamp class-it's one of the samples I made up to show ways to use the set, I'll post some more of the 3-D samples.  Maybe one a day to keep you visiting!

This is a thank you gift I made for someone that has helped me with Emily unfortunately I forgot to bring it with me when I saw her.  It is all retired papers, I love the flower brad, I just wish those dark chocolate kisses weren't purple foil.

Sweets for Halloween!

  Since someone heckled me for not posting for almost a month  want to make sure I share at least once a week.  This is what I've been playing with this week.  A little Halloween sweetness.  It's a card, a candy bar wrapper and a candy stick holder-orange candy.  All super easy and fun to make.
